North and South Productions came about one evening after Marty and I spent the night out at the Phat Pheasant singing Karaoke. Marty's love of singing and music was the deciding factor to starting our own business. We talked about it and started searching for a system that would meet our wants and needs. The name North and South came from myself being born and raised in Minnesota and Marty being born and raised in Arkansas.
We started out small and have gradually worked our way to what we presently have. A system where we can play both Karaoke and music CD's. Close to 20,000 Karaoke songs and growing, we try to locate songs that are requested and also some of the latest hits. We are not really sure how many songs we presently have for our DJing. Just know its not enough, because no matter where we play, someone always comes up with a song or group that we don't have. We continue to look for requested songs and groups and also try to keep up with the latest hits.
